The San Francisco Film Society’s Cinema by the Bay festival celebrates the passion, innovation and diversity of Bay Area filmmaking, the intelligence and probing spirit of local directors and the incredible depth and breadth of America’s film and media frontier. The three-day festival will feature new work produced in or about the San Francisco Bay Area and provide a compelling window into Bay Area film culture and practice at its best. The 2012 edition of Cinema by the Bay opens with Jason Wolos’ delectable debut feature Trattoria, includes screenings of dynamic new films by leading filmmakers and fine artists and is highlighted with the Film Society’s annual celebration of Bay Area innovators,
Essential SF.

The Pre-recorded Movie of GLAY Concert at Nagai Stadium Will Be Screened Around the World

It has been confirmed that GLAY ‘s pre-recorded movie of their live performance at “GLAY STADIUM LIVE 2012 THE SUITE ROOM in OSAKA NAGAI STADIUM supported by Glico” which was held in July, will be released in the movie theaters worldwide.

The two-day concert was held on July 28th and 29th at Nagai Stadium in Osaka attracting 100,000 people with the theme “Super Welcome Party” on 28th and “Big Surprise Party” on 29th.

The exciting four-hour live performance of the 29th will be tailored to the special three- hour international screening version, filled with the best moments of the concert and the GLAY’s greatest hits.

Following the concept of the concert “HOTEL GLAY”, a giant hotel building, about 30 meters tall with 100 meters wide, was actually built on the stage. With the kindest hospitality to their fans, a 500 meters runway was also built to entertain the fans.

During the encore of the 29th concert, “7 Surprises” were announced and the fans at Nagai Stadium screamed in excitements.

First of all, their 46th and 47th new singles will be released at the end of 2012 and new two albums, titled “JUSTICE” and “GUILTY” will be also released simultaneously in early next year. Their national arena tour for 250,000 people will start in February, 2013 and in spring 2013, their tour in Asia and other countries will be held. Furthermore, they will have an outdoor concert in their hometown of Hakodate, Hokkaido in summer. And finally, a Dome concert celebrating their 20th anniversary of their major debut and their large scale concert “GLAY EXPO” in Tohoku in 2014 were announced.

The exciting and must-see concert movie of GLAY will be delivered around the world.

SYNOPSIS
Eight Rwandan children leave their families behind to embark on a life-or-death journey seeking high-risk heart surgery in Sudan. Their hearts ravaged by a treatable disease from childhood strep throat, the kids have only months to live. Open Heart reveals the intertwined endeavors of Dr. Emmanuel Rusingiza, Rwanda’s lone government cardiologist, as he fights to save the lives of his young patients, and Dr. Gino Strada, the Salam Center’s head surgeon who must convince Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir’s government to keep Africa’s only link to life-saving cardiac surgery free of charge for the millions who need it.
