Coming up on September 18th is our 2nd Annual J-Pop Summit Festival located in San Francisco’s Japan Town. Last year’s event, which commemorated the opening of NEW PEOPLE, was an all day festival complete with live music, fashion contests and even a movie premiere. Some footage from our festival can be seen here. If you were unable to attend last year, we hope that you can make it to this year’s festival which will be just as fun and exciting.

We at NEW PEOPLE would like to know if you would like to participate in this year’s festival as a volunteer. As a non-profit event, we rely on the aid of volunteers for the festival to run smoothly and efficiently.

Volunteer for more than 4 hours on 9/18 at J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL and receive a VIZ Cinema gift card!

There are a few changes to the festival from last year. One such change is that we are not only celebrating with a grand weekend festival on September 18. We are also hosting a series of events the weekdays prior to the festival, from September 13th to the 17th, events such as two different VIP parties put on by Crunchyroll and MYX TV. Also, on the day of the festival, we will have new attractions, such as Anime Lane put on by A.O.D. and the Vinyl Village, which features the work of vinyl toy artists. With so much going on the week of the J-Pop Summit Festival, we will need even more help than last year. We hope that you will be part of this year’s festivities as a volunteer.
