Artist Yoshitaka Amano has donated three new brush works on canvas to be auctioned off for the tsunami and earthquake victims of Japan. -The auction will be held on the last day of the exhibition.
-Bid amount will be updated live on our TWITTER account for online viewers.
-Bidding will open to on-site and text bidders at 12pm on July 9th.
-The Final Bidding Event will be held during the reception starting at 7:30pm that night.
( Pre-registered text bidders are welcomed to join the Final Bidding Event. )
-Bidding will close as each piece’s auction is closed at the Final Bidding Event.

Provide all information at our gallery, and must bid $20 over last-placed bid
*Text Bidders:

(on 7/9, 12pm – 7:45pm ) You can also register on-site at the SUPERFROG Gallery (please be prepared to provide your credit card info ) . **Once you register , we will give you your Bidder Number, and the text phone number at this time. The Bidder Number will be used to identify you during the auction. The bidder with the highest bid at the auction’s closing time will attain the painting after payment is verified. (100% of the proceeds will be donated.)

MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST and the Exhibition:
Yoshitaka Amano: Monochrome & DEVA LOKA USA

A native of Shizuoka City, Japan, Yoshitaka Amano is best known for his character design for Final Fantasy video games and numerous Japanese hit TV cartoon series that sparked the imagination of youth in Japan and inspired a whole generation of artists who grew up watching his bold illustrations come to life. At the young age of fifteen, he started working as a character developer at Tatsunoko Productions and fifteen years later he left and became a freelance illustrator as well as an exhibiting artist.

For this U.S. exhibition, Amano has donated three new brush works on canvas “Monochrome I, II, & III” to be auctioned off on exhibition’s closing day for the tsunami and earthquake victims of Japan. (100% of the proceeds will be received by the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.) The three pieces combined with his DEVA LOKA* USA, a series of paintings Amano prepared as an ode to influences of 60’s and 70’s American pop culture, will be exhibited in this show.

*Deva Loka is an ancient Indian land of God, and is the theme that he has been able to unite all of his years of work under.
