The 2nd annual J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL was a huge success with 40, 000 visitors in just one day! NEW PEOPLE, as the producer and presenter of the festival, is very grateful for Japantown and the City of San Francisco for its support in making this festival happen again.

As the second annual event, the J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2010 was operated as a non-profit with support from Japantown Merchants Association. This year, to create a self-sufficient festival, we asked for a very small suggested donation at several entry points to Japantown. We appreciate all that was given to the non-profit festival account in order to sustain all the activities that required funding.

We are looking forward to another J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL in 2011, and wanted to show our deepest appreciation for our fans, Japantown neighborhood, District 5, and San Francisco. Your support is what allows us to further build this wonderful festival that introduces a unique and stronger tie between Japan and the Bay Area.
